Mount Sonder is one of the jewels in the Tjoritja/West MacDonnell Ranges National Park in Central Australia. It also marks the end of the 231km Larapinta Trail which hikers ascent early morning to watch a sunrise, often in freezing conditions, to complete their amazing trek.
